From an idea to an identity.

To become.
Every beginning starts with noticing.
FIO began with an observation: businesses evolve, but the digital experiences representing them do not always move at the same pace. A gap can emerge between what a business has become and what it communicates to the world.
I saw an opportunity in that gap. At the same time, I wanted to create something of my own — to shape not only a website, but the direction, identity, and foundations of a business.
In October 2026, those two motivations became FIO.
What represents a business should evolve with it.
I didn’t want FIO to exist only to design and launch websites. I wanted it to help businesses create a digital presence that reflects who they are today and makes room for who they may become.
That intention shaped three connected ways of working:
Build
Establish clear, thoughtful foundations.
Evolve
Refine the experience as needs change.
Care
Keep what has been built useful, reliable, and relevant.
The work does not end at launch. It continues with what comes next.
Becoming, made visible.
The name FIO draws from the Latin fīō — “to become.” It gives language to the belief behind the studio: businesses change, and the experiences representing them should be able to change too.
The identity translates that idea into a restrained visual system. Near-black and off-white create clarity; a sharp green accent introduces energy and direction. Geist keeps the typography direct and contemporary.
In motion, separate forms come together until FĪŌ becomes legible. The meaning of the name is no longer only written. It takes shape.

Motion study
An identity in the process of becoming.
Clarity is the first interaction.
The website had to do more than express FIO’s identity. It had to make the studio understandable: what it believes, how it works, and where a potential client could begin.
I shaped the experience around a direct introduction, three distinct paths — Build, Evolve, and Care — and an audit for businesses unsure of their next step. A structured inquiry form then turns that direction into a conversation, asking for the context needed to respond thoughtfully.
The aim was simple: every interaction should make the next decision clearer.

Where intention becomes structure.
For FIO, I approached development as a continuation of design. The structure had to support the clarity of the interface, the motion had to feel intentional, and the contact experience had to work beyond the screen.
I built the website with React, TypeScript, and TanStack Start, combining Tailwind CSS with custom components and styles. Scroll-driven transformations turn the brand’s idea of becoming into movement, while a validated inquiry flow connects a visitor’s intention to a server-side submission.
The result is a digital foundation designed to evolve alongside the studio itself.

Still becoming.
FIO is still at the beginning of its story. Founded in October 2026, it represents more than a studio or a website to me. It is the decision to build something of my own — and to take responsibility for what it becomes.
From its direction and identity to its interface and code, I took responsibility for each part. Strategy, design, and development were not separate destinations, but different ways of moving the same idea forward.
I don’t see FIO as a finished project. I see it as a beginning.
